Project: Remodel an existing office space to accommodate additional personnel. Scope included installation of new walls, electrical work, door installation and flooring replacement.
Challenge: The words CAL OSHA usually strikes fear in the hearts of contractors, especially if a CAL OSHA inspector is wandering the jobsite. Working in the very office where the inspectors are located can be downright intimidating.
MJK Solution: MJK presented our approach and safety plans to the staff, coordinated our work to reduce interruption of their operations in advance of the work starting. The inspectors found our safety plans and procedures met with their approvals, and the work was completed without problems or delays.
